Diane has over 30 years experience in both charity and commercial retail.
In the commercial sector, Diane worked for various well known and independent brands, troubleshooting, opening large new stores and providing store and area management.
In the charity sector Diane worked her way up from regional manager, to operations manager and head of store operations at Save the Children UK, and more recently headed up volunteering and retail for a regional charity.
Diane also worked in the commercial training sector, setting up and delivering customer service and retail NVQ courses.
Diane has led on a variety of change projects including restructures, redesigns, strategy and planning, EPOS transformations, volunteering strategies and ways of working alongside managing large and dispersed teams.
Diane has also presented and run seminars at Charity Retail Association events and Association of Volunteer Managers conferences.
Diane is educated to degree level, with a post graduate diploma in marketing, achieving graduate and later membership status of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, CIPD. She also recently completed a diploma in volunteering management.
