Charity Retail Awards 2022

We are extremely excited to see the return of the Charity Retail Awards from our friends at the CRA. The awards will be held on Friday 16 September at Harrogate Convention Centre with a variety of categories up for grabs. At the previous awards in 2019 the Charity Retail Consultancy was honoured with the Supplier of the Year award, and we are hoping to repeat our success.

Awards season is upon us and Irish Charity Shops Association, now Charity Retail Ireland, have given out their latest round of awards. Transforming Giant Thrift Shop Paintings

Continuing on the theme of upcycling we found this great video from an artist on Facebook upcycling old Painting bought from a charity shop with his own artwork. Video’s like these show the many strange and wonderful ways any item found in a charity shop can be upcycled and remixed, giving the item new life and new purpose.
