Charity Retail Training - in the bag!

Our brand new training arm, The Charity Retail Academy™ provides first class, sector specific training, covering all you need to make your team stand out from the crowd.

Delivered by experts in their field, we offer training in a range of subjects and formats, from short videos to live webinars, online learning to one to one coaching.  Each online course will have quizzes and exercises to check understanding and everyone who logs in has their own unique code, making it simple to track each individual’s learning. 

Launching in October, The Charity Retail Academy site will give simple to access courses in all areas of charity retail, aimed at a full range of roles, from volunteers and shop staff to Heads of Retail, Volunteering Managers and beyond.  

Courses will cover Volunteering, Visual Merchandising, Health & Safety, eCommerce, Wellbeing, Managing Retail Teams, Operational Skills and much more. All our courses are designed and delivered especially for the Academy, so you know charity retail will always be at the forefront of every session.

All our students will have access to an Academy Facebook Group where they will be able to find help, support and access to a network of similar minded charity retailers to share ideas and best practice.

We are working hard to keep costs low to make the courses as accessible as possible to the whole range of charity retailers – whether you have one shop or hundreds, we can provide the right course for you and your team.

This webinar will review the impact that Covid-19 has had on organisations and the ways in which charities have reacted.  It will share best practice, insight from across the third-sector and research to support effective volunteer recruitment practices, as well as looking the rise of mutual aid groups and how retailers can use this change in volunteering to their advantage.
